Through our website: When you interact with the Volume Auto website, you may voluntarily provide information through enquiry forms, contact forms, email subscriptions or other communication channels. Depending on the nature of your interaction, this information may include your name, company or organisation name, email address, telephone or mobile number, product or enquiry details, business requirements, and other information voluntarily submitted by you.

Through our mobile application: VolumeAuto Mobile is used by our distributor, retailer and marketer network to manage orders, inventory, attendance and business communication. Accounts are created by your organisation's VolumeAuto administrator — the app has no public sign-up. Through the app, we may collect:

• Account information — name, email address or username, phone number, and business role (distributor, retailer or marketer).
• Order and business data — products ordered, order history, cart contents, inventory and dispatch information relevant to your account.
• Location data — for Marketer accounts only, the app captures your device's GPS location at the moment you check in and check out for daily attendance. This is used solely to timestamp and verify attendance records and is not collected in the background or at any other time, and is not used for tracking, advertising or any other purpose.

We only seek information that is relevant to the purpose for which you contact us or use our services.

2. How We Use Your Information

Information provided to us may be used to respond to enquiries, communicate with customers and business partners, provide product-related information, process and fulfil orders, verify attendance, manage user accounts, understand requirements and improve our services.

For example, if you submit a product enquiry, the information you provide may be used to contact you regarding that enquiry. If you use the mobile app to place an order, your order details are used to fulfil and track that order with your assigned distributor.

3. Product & Business Enquiries

Volume operates in the automotive components industry and provides products including rubber components, hoses, oil seals, bushes, mountings, center bearing products and related automotive parts. When you contact us regarding a product or business requirement, we may use the information you provide to understand your requirement and respond appropriately.

4. Mobile Application Permissions

The VolumeAuto Mobile app requests the following device permissions, each used only for the stated purpose:

• Internet access — required for the app to communicate with our servers (view products, place orders, sync data).
• Location (fine/coarse) — used only by Marketer accounts, only at the moment of attendance check-in/check-out, as described above. Retailer and Distributor accounts do not use this permission.

The app does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, or storage beyond what's needed to attach files where the app explicitly asks you to, and does not include any third-party advertising or analytics tracking SDKs.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information against unauthorised access, misuse, alteration or disclosure. All communication between the mobile app and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS), and your session is authenticated using a secure access token rather than storing your password on the device.

However, users should understand that no internet-based communication system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We encourage users to avoid submitting unnecessary confidential or sensitive information through website enquiry forms or ordinary email communication.
